My first few years of college, I joined the NMSU DANCE sport program and was able to participate in many events, including the Look Who Can Dance event hosted every year by NMSU. The photos captured were at the event, which occurred in 2019. I may be an engineer. However, I love learning ballroom dance!
Future Inspirations
Professional
The future I strive for is one where I am able to work a steady but interesting job. I would like to use my strengths of creativity and out of the box thinking to design test structure and methods of testing. My three year goal is to have a steady job working for a research or technology company. I will be working with the skills I have built through my college career. I want to design 2 new drone types with a focus on small scale speed and large scale impact. I plan on moving from my current home of Las Cruces and moving to a larger city west or east, as long as there are mountains or natural areas. I plan on building on my previous engineering experiences and testing out new designs. I have a desire to perfect my skills as a designer and as a machinist. I am also not opposed to being a team lead, knowing how all the pieces to a puzzle go together can be very rewarding.
Personal
Personally I have several goals in mind, spread out in a five to ten year plan. The first of those goals is to purchase a house and work towards owning a small farm. I would like to be able to provide a stable household for a family. I want to raise kids, go fishing, and learn how to hunt. I have a huge desire to be strongly independent and know exactly where my food comes from. During my time in college, I have had to scrape by and eat what was available. There is little time for working on a garden when there are five assignments due at midnight. I also want to learn more about philosophy, metallurgy, and metaphysics. I have many philosophy books that are quite dense reads. There are few people in this world who truly know what it is to be a leader in lifestyle and in community. I want to be able to be a steady rock that others can rely on.
